Morning Dashboard is a personal, single-user application. It has one user: its author. It is not offered to the public and has no sign-up.
With the user's explicit consent, the application reads, on a read-only basis:

All processing happens locally on the user's own Windows laptop. The generated dashboard is a static HTML file saved to that laptop's disk.
No data is transmitted to any server operated by the application's author. There is no backend, no database and no analytics. Nothing is shared with, sold to or disclosed to any third party.
To produce one-line summaries of messages that pass its filters, the application may send a message's sender, subject line and a short excerpt to Anthropic's Claude. It does not send full message bodies or attachments. This is used solely to generate the summary shown to the user on their own dashboard.
Google OAuth tokens are stored in a local folder on the user's laptop, excluded from version control and from any cloud-sync folder. They are never transmitted anywhere except to Google, for authentication.
Generated dashboards are kept on the laptop for 30 days and then deleted automatically. Message content is not retained beyond the dashboard it appears on. Access can be revoked at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions, which immediately and permanently ends the application's access.
