Morning Dashboard

A personal tool that builds one daily summary page each morning.

Morning Dashboard is a private, single-user application. It runs on its owner's own Windows laptop and generates one HTML page each morning summarising the day ahead.

What it does

• Shows local weather for Airdrie, Alberta
• Lists deadlines, plans and reminders from plain-text notes stored on the laptop
• Reads the owner's own Gmail accounts and shows only messages that need attention
• Reads the owner's own Google Classroom coursework and announcements

Read-only

The application requests read-only access exclusively. It cannot send, reply to, delete, archive or modify anything in any account. Every Google permission it uses ends in .readonly.

Not a public service

This application is not offered to other users. It has one user — its author — and is not distributed, sold or made available for sign-up.
